Renaissance High School · Sophomore President 2026–27
This was never about me.
It was always about you.
To every person who picked up that marker and wrote what they felt on the whiteboard, regardless if it was serious, funny, or something that was genuinely important to you — thank you. You didn't have to stop. You didn't have to share. But you did, and it meant everything.
Your voice was the whole point.
It still is.
To everybody who held up a colored piece of paper for a few seconds in the hallway — you're in this. Not just in the video. In what it stood for. You gave it meaning.
To everyone who listened, visited the page, shared an idea, or truly believed that Renaissance would be better with your voice — regardless of who you voted for or whether you voted at all — this was always for you.
Renaissance is better because of the people in it. I'm just here to make sure that stays known.
These aren't promises made to win. They're commitments built from what you actually wrote on that whiteboard.
01
Actually Listen
Not just during elections. Showing up for the class means being present all year — accessible, responsive, and genuinely interested in what you have to say.
02
Represent Every Voice
Not just the loudest ones. Every hallway, every friend group, every person who's felt like their opinion didn't matter in a room — that changes.
03
Make It Better
You told me what you wanted to change. Less vandalism. Better events. More connection. I heard you. Now let's figure out how to actually do it.
Have an idea, a concern, or something you wish was different at Renaissance? This goes directly to me. Not a team, not a filter. Every message is read.
I'm not here because I have all the answers. I'm here because you do. Someone needs to make sure those answers reach the people making decisions. That's what this is. That's what Better With You means.
